Shakers

afe shaker equipment

The functions of AFE shaker equipment include:

  • Transportation of products
  • Sorting of products (both dimension and length)
  • Aiming or orientating products
  • De-watering, de-fatting or de-greasing of food products
  • Spreading or singling
  • Sieving
  • Grading or dosing

AFE Food Shakers include 4 different types of shakers:

  • Indirect driven shakers with epoxy springs
  • Direct driven shakers with Rosta-brand elements (not cylindrical springs)
  • Direct driven electromagnetic shakers
  • Indirect driven electromagnetic shakers with epoxy springs

INDIRECT DRIVEN SHAKERS WITH EPOXY SPRINGS

  • High amplitude (stroke up to 24mm)
  • Transport speed up to 800mm per second
  • No start/stop function possible
  • Application area; continuous product flows
  • Spring angle is variable (excellent for sticky products)
  • Low dynamic forces towards floor and other equipment

DIRECT DRIVEN SHAKERS WITH ROSTA ELEMENTS

  • Amplitude (stroke to max 8mm)
  • Transport speed up to 300mm per second
  • No start/stop function
  • Application area; continuous and heavy product stream

DIRECT DRIVEN ELECTROMAGNETIC SHAKERS Amplitude (stroke to max 4-5mm)

  • Transport speed up to 200mm per second
  • Able to use for start/stop function
  • Application area; dosing/feeding

INDIRECT DRIVEN ELECTROMAGNETIC SHAKERS

  • Amplitude (stroke up to max 10mm)
  • Transport speed up to 500mm per second
  • Able to use for start/stop function
  • Application area; discontinuous product flows, dosing, variable speeds
